A Rocket to the Moon In Nashville

With the festival season upon us everyone is scurrying to save up and get there Bonnaroo tickets, camp sites and ride all lined up. We forget to look who is playing right down the street. The concert season is in full spring and one of the hottest lineups in years is making its way to Rocketown in just a few weeks!

Headliner Motion City Soundtrack announced their tour to support their new album “My Dinosaur Life” with great disappointment due to a lack of any close by dates. We should of known this indie great would not disappoint us like that. Within weeks a second tour was announced, not only were the locations better, the start times later, the line up made it a two for one. A Rocket to the Moon, Sing it Loud and Fun will all be embarking on this tour.

If you haven’t listened to A Rocket to the Moon, do yourself a favor and go pick up a copy at Target (less than ten bucks) while there you might be able to find Sing It Louds EP, you might as well pick that up too. Now if you’re saying “I don’t listen to MCS I wont like this Rocket to the Moon”, think again. This band has an amazing ability to take those key elements from different genres and roll them in with their clever lyrics to sincerely produce an album everyone can fall in love with.
